SuperSONIC is our club for 12-17 olds with autism or other additional needs.  It’s a safe place to have fun, learn new things and make new friends with a strong emphasis on personal and social development as they prepare to enter adult life.  We help them to become independent and enjoy life like any other teenager, working together as a team and celebrating each other.

SUPERSONICFUN

What can you expect once our centres are fully reopened?

Each week we enjoy some chill out time together as well as some structured activities, such as Cup Pong challenges, arts and crafts, cooking, LEGO building, table tennis and pool. We sometimes go on day trips during the holidays to places like crazy golf, the cinema or bowling.  We have a lot of fun!

Our Youth Centre is a safe, fun, creative environment and parents often comment that they know their child is safe and supported when they are with us.

Required:

We'd love to see your child at SuperSONICS, but they must be able to access youth provision independently.  You will also need a Gateway card, but don’t worry if you don’t have one, we can help you apply.

I love coming to KA!

Knowing my child can access activities in a safe, fun space makes me smile.

We know, as parents, that our son is really safe with the King's Arms.

It gives my daughter a chance to meet up with friends and the independence she needs whilst giving us time with her sister.

Our Youth Workers are also on hand to provide support and a listening ear to our SuperSONICs .  Maybe you would like to discuss something that is happening in your life at the moment?

You can speak to a Youth Worker during your session or alternatively contact us.  One of our Youth Workers will then be in touch.
